SEBO Brush Roller Release Spring for Automatic X and Essential G Series

A brush roller release with no tension behind it will not return to the locked position, and from that point the roller is held by friction alone. SEBO 5103 supplies the tension. It is the small spring sitting behind the release mechanism in the nozzle, and one number covers a wide span of AUTOMATIC X and ESSENTIAL G uprights.

The symptom of a tired or missing spring is a release that stays where you push it instead of springing back, and a roller that can be worked out of its housing without touching the lock at all. Left that way, the roller shifts under load, the belt runs off line, and the end caps take wear they were never meant to see.
