SEBO Microfilter Holder Cable Clamp for X Series and ESSENTIAL G Series Uprights

SEBO uses more than one cable clamp inside these uprights, and ordering the wrong one is a common way to lose an afternoon. Part 5164 is specifically the clamp at the microfilter holder — not the clamp at the handle tube — and it retains the wiring where the loom passes the filter bay.

The diagrams pin it down precisely. SEBO lists 5164 at position 27 on the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 breakdown and at position 30 on the ESSENTIAL G4/G5 breakdown. Both drawings show the same small clip holding the cable clear of the filter recess.

Once the clamp is missing or broken, the wire drifts into the filter bay. It stops the microfilter seating flat in its recess, which lets a little air bypass the media, and the loose loop gets pinched every time the cover is closed. Both outcomes end badly — first as dust on the exhaust side, later as damaged insulation. Fitting a new clamp puts the run back on its designed path and leaves the compartment clear for the next filter change.
