Ahead of the motor on every AUTOMATIC X and ESSENTIAL G upright sits a flat white microfilter pad, and 5036AM is that part. Fitting is a straight exchange with no tools. Open the bag chamber, lift the old pad out of its recess, drop the new one in the same way up and close the cover.
