SEBO Cover Release for AUTOMATIC X4, X5 and ESSENTIAL G1/G2 — Gray Black

Every bag change on these machines begins with the cover release, and 5706GS is the gray black one. SEBO shows it at item 19 of the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 drawing, working against the return spring 5210 that sits a few positions along at 29.

The catch is handled at every single bag change, and its engaging tab slowly rounds over. Once that happens the release either loses its grip, letting the cover rise under vibration and breaking the seal around the bag chamber, or it binds so tightly that the door has to be forced open each time. Suction complaints that survive a fresh bag and clean filters often come back to this one moulding, because a cover held a fraction proud leaks air the whole time the motor runs. A new release pulls the cover down onto its gasket the way it should.
