The post filter is the last thing the air passes through before it leaves a Carpet Pro backpack, and this is the replacement for that stage, part B352-2400. It is listed for the Carpet Pro SCBP1 and SCBP1.2 backpacks and for the SC412A machine it was originally cut for.
Post filters load up slowly and quietly. Nothing tears or rattles; the machine simply gets louder and pushes less air, and the exhaust starts to smell dusty on a warm day. Because this filter sits after the motor, a clogged one also traps heat around the motor housing, which is the expensive part to protect.
Change it on a schedule rather than waiting for symptoms, roughly every six to twelve months on a machine in daily commercial use and sooner in heavy dust. Keep one on the shelf with your bags so the swap never has to wait.
