Part AC13DBKVZG08 is the variable speed button for the Panasonic MC-V7368 Platinum. It is the piece you actually touch — the moulded cap riding on the speed control switch that lets you take suction down for drapes and upholstery or back up for carpet.
Buttons crack around the stem or wear smooth until they no longer stay engaged with the switch beneath. The setting then becomes hard to change, or changes on its own, and if the button breaks away altogether the switch mechanism is left open to dust and stray fingers.
It pushes onto the switch stem. Work the switch through its full travel by hand before closing the housing up: if the switch itself feels gritty or notchy, a new button will improve the feel but will not fix the control.
