SEBO Top Casing for AIRBELT K3 Premium — Black

Position 24 on SEBO's AIRBELT K parts sheet is the top casing, and 6680SW1 is that panel in black for the AIRBELT K3 PREMIUM. The 25 that SEBO prints in brackets beside the caption is hardware included here: the 6625ER catch and screw, which give the 6627GS upholstery nozzle a home on the outside of the canister.

Black shows damage differently from the lighter finishes. Scuffs go grey rather than invisible, and a stress crack around a screw boss stands out as a pale line long before the plastic actually parts. Neither is worth living with, because a cracked boss stops the two body halves pulling together and the machine begins to click and flex as it is towed. Fitting a new casing is a shell-off, shell-on job that leaves the motor, controller and cord reel exactly where they are.

Take a moment over the foam bumper and the AIRBELT textile band while the shell is off. Both live on the seam between the two body halves, both come away with the panel, and both are far easier to refit cleanly than to source twice.
