SEBO Left-Hand Brush Roll Bearing Block for ET-C and ELECTRONIC 370

Left-side counterpart to block 2047, part 2091 carries the far end of the brush roll in the SEBO ET-C power head and the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370. It is a moulded housing that holds the roll bearing at a set height and keeps the shaft square to the nozzle opening, which is what lets the bristles meet the carpet evenly across the full width of the mouth.

Worn housings are what turn a smooth head into a noisy one. Play at either end lets the roll sag, and a sagging roll rubs its end caps, pulls the belt out of line and scrubs the carpet unevenly from one side of the opening to the other. Because both sides see identical hours, most technicians renew the pair in one visit rather than coming back for the second later. Take the chance to clear wound hair and thread from the roll shaft while it is out, since that binding is what loads the bearings in the first place, and check that the belt runs central on its pulley once the roll is back in. A roll that spins freely for several seconds after a flick of the hand is seated correctly.
