SEBO Drive Pulley 12 R/Ms for the Duo

Belt slip on a Duo brush machine often traces back to a worn drive pulley rather than to the belt itself, and 3056 is the SEBO replacement for one of them. This is the 12 R/Ms profile, the last item on the Duo parts diagram at position 72, immediately after the pulley 3017 at 71 and the bearing block assembly 3052HG at 70. SEBO also lists a plain Pulley 12 for the same machine under the separate number 3015, so the R/Ms designation on this listing is what tells the two apart.

A pulley fails quietly. The groove wears wider and shallower, the running face glazes, and the belt no longer keys into it under load. Sometimes a pulley seizes on its shaft instead, and then the belt polishes itself flat in a matter of hours. What the owner sees is carpet that looks only half groomed, a head that has become louder than it used to be, and a belt that squeals on start-up or works its way off the face altogether. Fitting a fresh pulley gives the belt clean flanks to grip, and putting a new belt onto a worn one only shortens the life of the new belt. The pulley is sold on its own, so order the belt separately if that is going back new as well.
