This charcoal cartridge cover, ProTeam part 107258, closes over the front-load intercept filter (part 107005) on new-style ProTeam ProForce uprights. It holds the filter squarely in its slot and keeps the airflow path sealed as air moves through the machine.
Commercial uprights lead a rough life, and the cover takes much of it: latch tabs snap, corners crack against furniture, and a cover that no longer seats lets air slip around the filter instead of through it. If yours turned up broken at a filter change — or never made it back on — dust ends up where it should not until the cover is replaced.
The cover fits the ProTeam ProForce 1200XP and 1500XP, including the 1500XP HEPA, on new-style machines that load the filter from the front. It is the cover only; the 107005 filter it protects is sold separately.
