The pigtail is the short cord assembly that connects the backpack to the extension lead, and ProTeam supplies it as part 836480 for the Super Coach Pro 6 and Super Coach Pro 10, models 1073110 and 1073120, and the ProVac FS 6.
It is short, which is exactly why it wears. All the flexing that a 50-foot lead spreads over its length happens in this one piece, right where it leaves the machine, and the failure is almost always at one end or the other: the vacuum cuts out when the connection is moved, the plug body has gone loose, or the jacket has split at the strain relief.
Replacing it is far cheaper than replacing a harness-mounted cord run, and a machine with a damaged pigtail should come off the rota until it is done.
