SEBO Pile Adjustment Knob in Silver for ET-1 and ET-2 Power Heads

Silver is the third finish SEBO offers for the height control on its power heads, and 2931SB is that knob. It is the round dial on the head that steps the brush roll up or down to suit the floor underneath: low for flat commercial loop, high for deep pile, so the brush works the fibers instead of stalling against them.

The diagrams place the silver knob at position 110 for ET-1 and ET-2 power heads, and again at position 110 on the FELIX sheet. Worn detents are the usual reason one gets ordered. The knob turns too freely, the chosen height no longer holds, and brush contact changes by itself halfway through a room. A split hub is the other common failure, and it shows up as a control that spins without moving anything. Should a new knob fail to cure it, the spring behind the mechanism is 2929 at position 106 and the complete adjustment assembly is 2316GS at 107.

Machines left the factory with different trim, so match the finish already on the head rather than assuming: silver, light gray and gray black knobs interchange mechanically but look nothing alike in place. All three share the same diagram position, which means the drawing alone will not tell them apart and the part number has to do the work.
