Oreck Rear Spacer - DTX1300 / DTX1400 Canister

Oreck part 82051-02 is the rear spacer from the DTX1300 and DTX1400 canister vacuums. It is one of the small moulded parts that sets the spacing at the back of the canister body, and like most parts of its kind nobody thinks about it until it is cracked or missing.

That usually happens after a drop or a hard knock down a flight of stairs, or it turns up in the bottom of a closet after the canister has been dragged around by the hose. A missing spacer leaves the back of the machine sitting differently than it should and puts the load onto the parts either side of it. Ordering by part number is the quickest route here, because the shape is specific to the DTX series and a near-enough substitute will not sit right. Confirm your machine is a DTX1300 or DTX1400 before ordering.
