This is the complete motor unit for the Panasonic MC-V7407 upright, part AC92FBBRZ00, supplied as an assembly rather than as loose brushes or an armature. It carries the suction fan, so everything the machine does at the floor depends on it.
Motors give warning before they quit. The pitch climbs, the machine smells hot after ten minutes, suction fades partway through a room, or the brushes arc and the vacuum cuts out and restarts.
