Seven-foot hose assembly for the Kirby Generation 3, part 223689S, in stone grey. It comes complete with both ends, so the machine fitting and the tool fitting arrive new along with the hose itself.
Generation 3 machines are old enough now that the hose is often the weakest thing left on them. The material stiffens with age, loses its spring, and cracks at the flex points near either end - and once it does, the vacuum pulls its air through the crack. Attachments feel gutless, the machine sounds no different at all, and no amount of clearing the tool makes the slightest difference.
This is the Generation 3 length and fitment. Later Generation hoses use different ends, so go by the badge on the machine rather than by appearance.
