This is the replacement motor for Hoover WindTunnel T Series uprights, part 440005397, supplied as a complete motor unit for the UH70120 and UH30600 and the commercial machines built on the same platform.
Motors give notice before they go. Brushes wear down and the machine loses power gradually, bearings dry out and the note turns from a hum to a grind or a high whine, and a burning smell during use means the windings are running hot. If suction has fallen away with clean filters, a fresh bag and a clear airway, the motor is what is left.
It fits the Hoover UH70120, UH30600, UH30300, UH30302, UH30308 and UH30310, the UH70604, the CH53010 and CP50000 commercial uprights, and the Royal UR30090. Disconnect the machine from the mains before starting, note the wiring positions before disturbing them, and leave the job to a service technician if you are not confident with mains wiring.
