This is the molded carry handle used across Oreck's XL21 and Elevate uprights, part 430000947. It fits the UK30100, UK30100PC, UK30270, UK30300, UK30300COM and UK30300PC, the U2000R and U2000RB-1, the U7070ECS, the BK95519, and the Hoover CH50200, CH50300 and CH95519.
This is the grip the whole machine gets lifted by, up stairs and in and out of a vehicle, and it fails without much warning: a crack at one of the two mounting points, then the handle lets go with the machine's full weight hanging on it. If the grip already has visible movement or a hairline split at a boss, that process has started.
The replacement mounts at the original points and puts a lifting point back on the vacuum that you can trust.
