Green is the light-duty grade in the Oreck Orbiter brush range: a 12-inch scrub brush with crimped polypropylene fill of 0.015 inch, sold as part 237057. It mounts to the Orbiter floor machine, including the Oreck 3907, and is also listed for the ORB550MC, ORB600MW and ORB700MC.
Reach for green when the floor needs agitation rather than aggression, on smooth, textured or painted concrete, garage slabs and routine cleaning where a stiffer grade would scuff. The polypropylene fill is what makes it economical to run at that duty.
Bristles flatten as they wear, and a flattened brush stops cutting. The machine glides, the water stays clean when it should be coming up dirty, and the finish comes out patchy across the floor. When the fill no longer stands up under its own weight, it is finished. Fitting a new one takes seconds on the Orbiter drive.
