A 1 1/2 inch gray hose cuff, part D-3150-150-2C101, for crushproof commercial vacuum hose. The cuff is the moulded fitting at the end of the hose that gives it something rigid to plug into a wand, a tool or an inlet.
Cuffs are the wear point on any hose that gets dragged, coiled and stepped on for a living. They split along the barb, work loose from the hose wall, or wear at the mouth until the connection no longer holds, which shows up as a whistle at the joint, a tool that keeps falling off, and suction noticeably down at the far end.
Seat the new cuff fully onto the hose before use. Measure first: this one is sized for 1 1/2 inch crushproof hose.
