The belt cover is the plate that closes off the belt and pulley at the nozzle of these commercial uprights, and this is the replacement, part CM011006. It is the cover for the Fuller Brush FBP-14PW and the Titan TC6000.2, and it also fits the Carpet Pro CMP3N, CMP3QD and CMP3T, the Clean Max CMPSQD, the Fuller Brush FBP_14PWBP and the Titan TC6000.
Covers break because they are the first thing to meet a chair leg, and because they get pried off every time the belt is changed. Once the tabs snap the cover rattles, hangs crooked, or falls away entirely, leaving the belt exposed to cords and carpet fringe.
Fitting a new one puts the guard back over the drive and stops the rattle.
