This filter set, part CPBU-F, is the pair the Carpet Pro CPBU-1 backpack takes: the HEPA element and the secondary filter behind it. Our fitment data also lists it as the Carpet Pro 2310.
Filters are the reason a backpack that has not been serviced in a year feels tired. Dust packs into the pleats, airflow through the machine falls, and the motor works harder while the nozzle picks up less. Once the media is loaded or split, fine dust starts finding its way back out into the room you are cleaning, which is the opposite of the point on an allergy job.
Change them as a set, because a new HEPA element sitting behind a loaded secondary filter will not last. Both seat in their housings and the covers close over them.
