SEBO Exhaust Filter Cover for AUTOMATIC X4 — Black

Part 5711SW is the black exhaust panel for the AUTOMATIC X4. It carries no filtering material of its own; what it does is hold the filter pack down flat, so that everything the fan pushes out has to travel through the pleats before it reaches the room.

Three faults send people looking for one. A corner snaps away, a retaining lug stops gripping, or the panel will no longer sit level with the body. All three finish the same way: a slot opens at the boundary of the filter, and air much prefers the slot to the medium. Dust returning to the room is the obvious symptom; the subtler one is smell, because unfiltered exhaust carries the scent of whatever is in the bag straight back out with it. A panel that rattles at full motor speed is the early warning, and it is worth acting on before a loose corner breaks off altogether.

Finish is the one thing to double-check before ordering. SEBO tools this panel identically in black, red, white and graphite, so the code rather than the outline tells them apart, and a listing photograph is a poor guide.
