The upper bellows clamp for Eureka and Sanitaire 887-series uprights, part 262662. It secures the top end of the bellows, the flexible section that carries air from the nozzle up into the bag housing. Fitment covers the SC877D and SC877E, the SC887D and SC887E, the SC888G and SC689A, the C2132 and C2133 machines, the SC9050E, and the Electrolux-Eureka EP9025A, EP9025A1, EP9027A and EP9027A1.
Clamps are usually the reason a bellows leaks. The clamp goes brittle or its tab breaks, the bellows creeps out of position under the flexing it sees every time the handle is lowered, and suction escapes at the joint instead of reaching the floor.
Fit a new clamp whenever the bellows itself is replaced. Reusing a tired clamp on new rubber is how the same job comes back around a few months later.
