A 14-inch cloth filter, part 110348, for Eureka and Beam central vacuum power units. It is the main filtration stage in the canister: air drawn from the wall inlets passes through the cloth, dirt drops out, and clean air carries on through the motor.
The list of units it covers is a long one. On the Eureka side it fits the 284, 287C, 289, 294, 387, 397, 697, 2100, 2200, 2250, 2367 and 2500 as well as the Gortex 875B, and it also serves Beam's 2250D Serenity.
Once the weave is loaded with fine dust, suction at the inlets drops off even though the motor sounds normal, and the unit runs hot. A filter that has been washed several times and no longer recovers is due for replacement. Measure across the top of your old filter to confirm the 14-inch size before ordering.
