Wooden brush roll, 12 inches, with rubber end caps, part 54104A1, for Sanitaire and Eureka uprights. Note that the current version no longer carries a beater bar — it is a brush-only roller, so if your machine came with a bar you will notice the change in feel on deep pile.
Wood rollers wear in two places. The bristles go soft and short, and the rubber caps at the ends harden and crack. Worn bristles stop reaching into the pile, so the machine glides over ground-in grit; failed end caps let the roller wobble in its bearings and knock in the nozzle.
It fits the Eureka and Sanitaire C2132A, C2132B, C2132B1, C2132B2, C2132B3 and C2133A, and the S635A, SC689A, SL635A and SL635B.
