Behind the exhaust grille on a Pullman-Holt UV-5 upright sits a filter, and part B160561 is the cover that holds it against its opening so every bit of air leaving the machine has to pass through the media rather than around the edge of it.
The cover takes knocks in a way the filter never does. Clips break, the plastic cracks where it is levered off at each filter change, and once it will not latch the filter shifts in its recess.
