Cordless Clean Max ZM800 and Titan T500 uprights, along with their Simplicity and Riccar equivalents, locate the battery pack on a post. Part B223-1300 replaces it: the mounting point the pack drops onto and the connection it runs through.
Battery posts wear because they are the part that moves. A commercial machine can see several pack swaps a day, and every one of them loads the same small plastic and metal interface. A worn or cracked post shows up as a battery that has to be wiggled to run, a machine that cuts out when it is nudged, or a pack that will not seat and lock at all.
Replacing the post is the fix for an intermittent cordless upright that everyone has already blamed on the battery. It is a small part standing between a working machine and a dead one.
