The squeegee is the rubber strip carried in the base cover on the underside of these Fuller Brush and Carpet Pro uprights, part B015-3000B. It wipes the floor behind the nozzle and helps seal the base plate against hard surfaces. It fits the Fuller Brush FB-SM, the Carpet Pro CP-ULW and ZM-400, the Clean Max ZM800 and the Titan T500.
Rubber hardens with age and abrades on grit. Once the strip has gone stiff, split or lost its edge, hard floors stop coming up clean in a single pass, fine dust gets pushed along ahead of the machine, and the seal that keeps suction concentrated at the nozzle leaks air.
This part supplies the base cover with its rubber squeegee, so the underside of the nozzle goes back to sealing and wiping the way it did new. Worth checking whenever hard-floor pickup has quietly fallen off.
