This is the cuff for the lower fill hose, part B283-4700, used on the Carpet Pro CPU250 and CPU350 and on the Titan T3200, Fuller Brush FBEZM and Simplicity and Riccar S20EZM. The cuff is the moulded end fitting that terminates the hose and locks it into its port.
Hoses usually fail at the ends. Every flex of the machine works the joint where the flexible section meets the rigid cuff, until the hose pulls free of it or the cuff itself splits. Air then leaks at the connection, the machine sounds unchanged, and dirt stops arriving where it should.
Because this is sold as the cuff on its own, a hose whose body is still sound can be repaired at the end rather than replaced whole. Check that the new cuff seats fully before locking it back into place.
