Part A09 is the felt pack for the Carpet Pro CPU1 commercial upright and the machines built alongside it. Felts are the soft seals that sit between the hard plastic joints of the airway — around the bag mount, the nozzle throat, the fan housing — and they are what make a bagged upright airtight rather than merely assembled.
They are also consumable. Felt compresses permanently, takes up oil and dust, and eventually stops springing back against its mating face. The result is a machine that has slowly lost pickup with no single fault to find, often with a fine dust film escaping along a seam.
The pack covers the Carpet Pro CMP3N, CMP3QD, CMP3T, CPU1QD, CPU2T, CPU3N, CPU3QD, CPU4N and CPU4T, the Clean Max CMPSQD, the Fuller Brush FBMMPWCF4, FBPHD2T and FBP-14PWBP, and the Titan T4000, T4000.2, TC6000 and TC6000.2. Renew the felts whenever the machine is open for other work.
