Part 2030166 is the primary filter for the Bissell Garage Pro, the cone-shaped element roughly eight inches across that fits the 18P0 wet/dry vacuum and is also listed for the 43Z3.
The cone does the bulk of the work. Everything the machine picks up dry passes through it, so it goes from white to gray to caked, and a caked cone is the usual reason a wet/dry vac that once lifted bolts off the floor now struggles with sawdust. Knocking it out helps for a while, but eventually the pleats hold enough fine dust that no amount of tapping brings the airflow back.
Replace it when a clean-out no longer restores suction, and always run the machine with a filter fitted when picking up dry debris.
