This is the complete brush roll assembly for the Bissell DeepClean Essential 8852, part 1601537, and it is more than the roller: the axle, both pivot arms and the belt access door come with it, along with the screw that joins the arm to the door.
Six rows of bristles do the scrubbing on these machines and they take a beating, because they work wet. Bristles splay, hair binds the ends, and eventually the roller either stops turning or turns without reaching the carpet. Since the arms and access door are included, a cracked arm or a snapped door tab gets fixed in the same order rather than hunted down separately.
It fits the DeepClean Essential 8852 series, the ProHeat Essential 1887, and the 1210 and 9585 machines built on the same base.
