SEBO Right-Hand Brush Roll Bearing Block for ET-C and ELECTRONIC 370

A rumbling, wobbling brush roll usually traces back to the moulded block carrying its shaft. Part 2047 is the right-hand bearing block used in the SEBO ET-C Power Heads and the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370, and its job is to hold one end of the roll at a fixed height so the shaft turns true.

Blocks take load continuously and eventually wear oval. What you notice is a grinding note under the head, a roll that sits at a slight angle, or a belt that keeps creeping off its pulley because the roll it drives is no longer running parallel to the shaft above it. None of those symptoms announce themselves as a bearing fault, which is why owners often replace two or three belts before looking at the block. The tell is that a fresh belt cures the noise for a fortnight and then the same note returns.

Renewing it at the same service as the belt is the sensible approach, and 2091 is the mirrored part at the opposite end of the same roll. If one block has worn, the other has done identical work and is worth inspecting while the roll is out. Check the roll shaft ends too: a block that has gone oval will have been letting the shaft move, and a shaft with a visible wear step will chew a new block just as quickly.
