SEBO Left-Hand Internal Bearing Block for X7

A brush roll that rumbles, drags or wobbles at one end is usually telling you a bearing has had enough. Part 52111ER is the internal-pattern bearing block that carries the left side of the brush roll inside a SEBO X7 housing and lets it spin with almost no resistance.

Bearings in a vacuum cleaner live in fine grit and never stop turning, which is an unkind combination. Over time they roughen, begin to bind, or open up enough clearance for the roll to move around in its seat, and each of those failures has its own signature. Roughness comes through as noise from one side of the head. Binding shows up as a motor that sounds strained and a belt running hot. Clearance produces uneven brush contact, so the carpet is agitated harder at one end than the other and the brush strip wears out of square. A bearing that binds robs the roll of speed and leaves the motor pulling against friction it should never have to see.

Two details matter when ordering. The block is handed, so the left-hand part is not the same number as the right, and this is the internal style rather than an external one. Confirm both against the block you are taking out. If the head has been noisy for a while it is worth doing the pair, because a roll that has been running on one failed bearing has been loading the opposite end the whole time.
