This is the power nozzle base with wheels, part 591007174, for the Kenmore 7202. It is the lower half of the motorized floor head, supplied complete with its wheels rather than as a bare shell.
On a power nozzle the base does three jobs at once. It holds the brush roll at the right height, it closes the underside of the suction path, and it carries the wheels that let the head glide. Damage therefore reads as poor cleaning rather than as an obvious break: a cracked base leaks air at floor level, lets the roll sit out of line so one side of the path stays dirty, and can scuff hard flooring where a broken edge drops down.
Because the wheels come fitted, it goes straight on with the original hardware. Clear the brush roll and check the belt while the head is apart.
