This is the almond trim plate for the Canplas CanSweep sweep inlet, part 845621A. It is the visible ring that finishes the opening where the CanSweep is fitted into a toe-kick or baseboard, covering both the cut-out and the pipe connection behind it.
Trim plates get replaced for looks rather than function. Almond plastic yellows unevenly next to newer cabinetry, plates crack when a vacuum head or a chair leg catches them, and they take damage during kitchen work long after the central vacuum itself was installed. Ordering the plate on its own means you are not pulling out a perfectly good inlet just to tidy up its edge.
It adjusts to sit flush against the surface, and it is the almond finish specifically, with black and white sold under separate numbers. It is listed for Canplas CanSweep installations and for Riccar 2000 and 4000 and Simplicity 5000 and 6058 systems.
