This Canplas-Hayden 38-degree elbow, part 762038, is cut to the shallower stairway angle so the pipe can follow the stair run and feed an inlet placed mid-staircase or on a landing.
Matching the elbow to the actual angle matters in a vacuum line. Forcing standard fittings into a stair run means extra joints and awkward doglegs, and every added joint is another spot for leaks and clogs. A single elbow at the correct angle keeps the run clean and the airflow smooth.
